IBA is developing a novel proton therapy delivery technique called DynamicARC®. This technique allows dynamic irradiation while the gantry is rotating. It offers the advantages of Pencil Beam Scanning (PBS) and the properties of the Bragg peak with no exit dose. The rationale for developing DynamicARC is the same rationale that fueled the shift from IMRT to VMAT treatment in conventional RT: the ability to deliver faster, easier, and more conformal (sharper) treatments.

Arc Therapy is currently under research and development phase and will be available for sale when regulatory clearance is received.
