Executive summary
This study compared tangential 3D-CRT and VMAT to PBS proton therapy in secondary cancer risk (SCR) for the lungs and for contralateral breast. PBS PT was associated to significant SCR reduction in breast cancer patients compared to photon radiotherapy.
