In an effort to draw attention to the use of proton therapy in lymphoma, and as a resource for future consideration of proton therapy coverage for lymphoma by other expert panels and insurance agencies, the PTCOG lymphoma subcommittee has developed an evidence-based review on the use of proton therapy in lymphoma.

The committee recommended that proton therapy should be reasonably considered in appropriately selected lymphoma patients when it can significantly decrease the dose to critical structures.
